And it would make her tougher to confuse with other birds, like Mati for instance
Either way, she's looking great, man. And the watercolor is amazing as well. If you were worried about the background, I think it's fairly innocuous, and even with it pointed out it seems barely noticeable. Great work, my friend. Keep it up. ^v^
The main thing I was worried about with the watercolour was that I got so much detail in the character and thought the background would be much lighter. Having it so dark like that drains the focus away from the character and she's not quite as distinctive. Compare that with this picture, where Seana has some darker shading to her against a bright light background, and it stands out much much more, I think.
Maybe it's not quite bad, but it was certainly not as effective as I was picturing x)
Maybe I'll catch you online sometime soon and we can decide on a project
