Maneater

For a while now, I've wanted to develop a more sinister villain to use in an eventual story. Most of my stuff is pretty lighthearted in general, and any such characters would likely not fit well in any of the worlds I have done up so far.

So here we have Ana (name pending), a mantis who is constantly in balance of a calm, composed side of her personality and a more primal, brutal aspect. She is still being worked out, but will likely appear in a few more places in the future. She tends to lure and charm men to follow her to somewhere secluded and proceeds to... do mantis stuff. Yeah. It doesn't turn out well for the victims x)

She also does have a third set of limbs - they are about half-size of her normal limbs here and currently hidden underneath that dress, around her midsection.

I'm also developing a fixation for backlighting and really high contrast... the last however many pictures of mine have had it to some extent xP
