Seag-- snake?!

This is part of a trade with the awesome . We've been tossing around project ideas like it's going out of style, and one that we settled on was to take each other's avatars and do a sort of species-swap thing. He drew my snake as a bird, I took his bird and turned it into a snake!

It is very, very, VERY difficult to get something of a completely different animal type looking anything like the original character, so a large part of it is based on colouration alone. Luckily, some quick searching gave me a Banded Sea Krait, who can have colouring such that the only exotic colouring I had to add for this image was that little orange lower lip
